Fall Blessings

Kurt and I made a spur of the moment decision to go to Maine for the weekend.  It was nice to get away for a couple of days, and so relaxing! It was great to visit his family and spend some time together. We girls went shopping on Saturday and Kurt and his father went to shoot Kurt's gun. We spent the rest of the afternoon together and some friend stopped by in the evening to play games. Church together on Sunday, then out to lunch at the 99.

It's Monday again. Weekends seem to be flying by lately! But I am very much looking forward to Thanksgiving. Kurt and I both have a 4 day weekend, which is so exciting! He is trying to talk me into going out EARLY (I'm talking long before the rooster crows) in the morning to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. (It's true) I don't think it is such a good idea? Anyone have a good or bad experience with that idea that wants to let me know if it is such a good idea?  ha ha

It is so beautiful outside. Every fallen leaf reminds me of eaching blessing God has sent down to me. I am so thankful for the lessons He has taught me over the past year, and am learning to be thankful for every trial and pain he has allowed to happen in my life. If I focus on His blessings, the hurt will never take over the joy of being His daughter.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

New job ! . . .again

You are all wondering when I am not going to be posting about some new event in my life : ) And wondering how LONG my resume is starting to look with all of these different jobs . . . haha

My nanny job was not going too great, so I ended up ending that one. I have a new job as of  last Monday, and this one I really like!  I am the new Administrative Assistant/Receptionist at Complete Staffing Solutions Inc. in Marlborough, MA. I am getting paid better then I ever have, am gaining new skills and really enjoying my days, and *drumroll* I have my own desk (lol), not to mention the whole front room to myself . It is just me at the front desk and I handle all of the Apps, Filing, Tax info (W4's, I-9's, etc.), and anything else that needs to be done.

We are still looking to move out. . . only a couple of weeks left!

It's Friday! I can not explain in words how happy I am that it is Friday.

I have done the ultimate worst thing I could have done. I joined pinterest. Enough said.

Coupon for a .99 cent small hot or iced latte at Dunkin' donuts. I am very happy about this coupon. :) I used it this morning, they scanned it right off my phone. So convenient!

New Job

 I got a job as a full time Nanny in Westborough, MA caring for a 19 month old boy.  I started Monday and am getting used to my new schedule. I leave at 6:30 in the morning to drop Kurt off at work (since we share a vehicle) then head toward Westborough since it is a waste of gas to go back home. I have an hour gap between when my job starts. Today I am sitting at Panera Bread which is nothing to complain about :) Then I work until 5:30 or so, pick up Kurt and get home around 6:30. So I am gone 12 hours a day, 5 days a week. Something to get used to for sure!

  We went to New Hampshire to celebrate my sister-in-law's 16th birthday.  We went to the mall and she got her ears pierced! Very exciting :)  Then my sisters and I decorated for her party and we had a great Paris themed party in the evening.  I remember turning 16 . . . . :)

  I also dyed my hair and got it cut. I don't recognize myself in the mirror. ha ha. I will try to post some pictures later.

Back to my cinnamon crunch bagel (oh the delicious calories!) and coffee.

Family Day

We had a family day to Schartner Farms in Bolton, MA.  I found a Groupon deal for their corn maze and a free hayride. None of us had ever gone on a corn maze, and it was a lot of fun! We went through the maze twice and raced the second time.  We went to get ice-cream at Kimball Farm after.

Still searching. . .

Not much has changed since my last post.  I have applied to several jobs and made several phone calls, every day. I have registered and interviewed at a handful of hiring agencies.  There is always someone more qualified.

I did get a three day job through an agency to "help out in an office". Which ended up being a warehouse.  I was extremely sore after, but it was work. :)  Kohl's is looking more tempting every day, but it will not even come close to  paying the bills with the price of apartments around here. And the first question people ask when I call around is if I am currently working and would be available right away, which is a big plus. If I go to Kohl's for now, then I would have to give a 2 weeks notice to leave. 

It is getting cool out, and winter will be here before we know it! Which means moving out of the camper. . . and into the house if I don't have a good paying full time job by then.  In the mean time my husband is working very hard at W.B Mason. I am very thankful for him. God blessed me with a very hard working and faithful husband.

It is hard not knowing what God has planned and why so many things happen. When anything seems good like it is going to work out, it all falls through.  I am trying my hardest to trust Him through every situation in life. Sometimes it seems like nothing is going right and every time I turn around something else is going wrong. But I have to remember He is in control and has a plan for my life . . . better then I could ever plan :)  And I will continue to count my blessings, because compared to so many others, my life is GREAT!! :)
